I agree, but I think many do not. My preference is to wait until an animal notices me noticing him. It’s a wary time. A few seconds later, if I make no movements, he usually relaxes, but maintains a focus on me. That is when I shoot.The eyes aren’t as dilated and the muscle tone is better. I feel it shows the animal at his best.
Then there are the times when I get the perfect shot and it’s just dumb luck. I claim credit for those too, since I miss so many shots due to bad luck
